Downloading your FREE photo

From the link I gave above, when you go over the image with your mouse, a menu will appear on the right side of the photo. At the bottom of the menu, you will see a yellow folder. Click on it and the photo will be downloaded to your computer.

The image you download is full size, poster/magazine quality and it can vary from 2-3 mpx. to 10 or more mpx. With these sizes you will surely need a photo editor in order to use it on your website. I'm giving some ideas of photo editors on my resources page.

SE Friendly images

It is rightly said that a picture is worth thousand words. Even if you have wonderful images in your blog post or a website, it does not get picked up by search engines easily.

If you want your pages to be SE optimized, using images that reside on your site is a good idea, because:

  • you can re-size them the size you want (smaller sizes will load faster),
  • you can give them file-names that will be indexed by search engines,
  • you can give them "alt-tags" using your page keywords, which again will increase their searchability.

I strongly advise you to use either free photos or shop around for good quality and inexpensive images to buy.

Buying a photo

Please feel free and browse my galleries and let me know your opinion. If you would like to buy any, my photos are available at very affordable prices, for unlimited use (same as if you buy them at any stock photo site).

You will find high quality images, whether you need small sizes for web, or full size formats for any kind of printed materials.

* Don't worry, your downloaded photos will be watermark free.

How to buy photos from my photo website:

When you go to my free photos gallery, you will notice under each free image, a link for the respective gallery of for the original gallery where the free photo came from.

Choose the photo you would like to buy and from the top right menu, click on the "Buy" button.

Go to the "Downloads" tab and insert the quantity 1 into the first line (Personal or Commercial is the same thing).

You will get a 1 MegaByte image, high quality and big enough to be used either inside of your pages, on the top banner, or print.

The text actually says "Low-Res 1Mpix., but it's a mistake - the small size image will have exactly the same resolution as the original one, for the smaller size.

* In this case, the downloaded image is 1.2 MB and 1184x846 pix.,
300 dpi.
